When I started DDG Records back in the late 90’s, I thought I was going be the next Colonel Tom Parker. Little did I know popular music was going to crap and it would be all that digitally remixed shit clogging the airwaves that would end up attracting all the free drugs, hot babes, and cold cash I lusted after. Such is life. But almost a decade later DDG continues to be one of the more respected indie outfits in the nation, boasting some of the finest artists around. And while all that quality analog goodness that spews from our East Van Eden Studios might not get me the drugs, babes and cash I originally sought, it has helped me hold on to something even more valuable: my soul.
