Greetings music fans.
So much to discuss today. There’s the debacle we call the Junos. There is the Canucks’ loss to the Kings. There is that big cloud of smoke from Iceland causing all kinds of problems. But fuck it all. It’s international weed day. The only thing we should be discussing is the big cloud of smoke coming from my lungs, causing all kinds of euphoria. As my good friend and City of Fire drummer Bob Wagner says, “Spark ‘er, Bob Barker.” .
Today’s ditty is from RC’s old band Mahoney. RC tells me he and Steve Loree are planning on recording a rock opera later this year called A Soundtrack For Dealing Weed In North Delta. Catchy title, boys. Anyway, they tell me a cover of this song will make the cut. Thought it might be a fitting spin for today. Enjoy.
